The regal was resurrected for Dolce & Gabbana's Fall 2012 runway show during Milan Men's Fashion Week. The theme was turn of the century opera and Pavarotti was belting out one of his classics. The set was a rundown opera setting in the 1900s. The regal, of course, was in the clothing which was full of velvet, gold embroidery, brocade, and even some Eastern motifs translated into luxe aristocratic Italy. Overcoats and outerwear mixed with knit cardigans and luxury underwear as well as silk and other hi-quality fabrics.
